Meet Shawntrice McQueen: a compassionate leader whose 20 years as a beloved educator in a tight-knit charter school community taught her the power of empathy, dedication, and hands-on support. Early in her career, she held a cosmetology license and modeled, but her heart led her to teaching—where she volunteered at every event, funded student experiences abroad, and personally provided uniforms and grooming help so kids could feel confident. Renowned for never receiving a complaint and for skillfully resolving conflicts, Shawntrice also shaped faculty recruitment and school culture. After the school’s closure in 2022, she channeled her organizational talent and deep local connections into real estate and property management.
